Saints land French ace

Southampton have swooped to sign midfielder Romain Gasmi from French side Strasbourg on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old is currently out with a broken metatarsal but will move to St Mary's when he has recovered in around a month's time.
Gasmi joins Anthony Pulis as Jan Poortvliet's second midfield signing in the last week, and is the second player to join from Strasbourg over the summer following the capture of midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin back in June.
Meanwhile reports earlier suggested Rudi Skacel could become the latest player to leave the club as boss Poortvilet admitted there was interest in several of his first-team squad as the closure of the transfer window approaches.
Poortvliet said: "I don't know whether it (deadline day) will be busy, maybe it could be. There is some interest in some players."
