Star issues rallying call
Southampton, 19:05, September 29, 2008 ,
Andrew Surman says it is time for Southampton to launch a push up the Championship and is targeting another win against Norwich.
Saints had gone five games without a win before Saturday's 2-0 win at Doncaster and now the England Under-21 international wants to put the Canaries to the sword at St Mary's on Tuesday night.
"I think this is now an opportunity to start pushing on," Surman revealed.
"We don't want to get too excited or get ahead of ourselves, but it's all about confidence in this game and we'll use that as a springboard to get a few more wins and move up the table.
"We're now after that first home victory on Tuesday. It's going to be tough but the fans have been patient with us so far, and I think if we score first we should win the game."
