Spain coach satisfied with win

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has praised his side after their comfortable 2-0 Euro 2012 quarter-final win over France.

Xabi Alonso scored both goals as, despite a few uncharacteristic errors, the La Roja easily controlled the game, neutralising any French attacks. They will now face Portugal in the last four on Wednesday and Del Bosque says he is pleased that his players have showen another side to themselves. "The truth is we did well and controlled the game," he said. "We are very happy because we knew it was a game where we had to slog and we have done that."
