Rangers' defender Carlos Bocanegra says that although he is happy at Ibrox, he will leave if asked to take another pay cut.

The American was one of several players who voluntarily slashed their wages to help the troubled Glasgow outfit, after they fell into administration in February. Despite the players' sacrifices, the club's future still appears to be uncertain and the 33-year-old says he will definitely consider other options, if he's asked to further reduce his wages. "I won't take another pay cut. Hopefully it will all be sorted out," he said. "That was a big decision for all the players to take. It wasn't just me. "Obviously you join a club expecting a guaranteed contract. Then you have to change it and that's an unfortunate circumstance."
