Dobbie open to Celtic move
Scottish Premier League,
Swansea City striker Stephen Dobbie says he is flattered by reports linking him with a move to SPL champions Celtic.
The 29-year-old, however, has revealed that he plans on meeting with new Swans manager Michael Laudrup to see whether he will be a part of his first-team squad before making a decision on his future. The forward spent the last part of last season on-loan at Blackpool, who are keen to sign him on a permanent deal, although they are said to face competition from Middlesbrough, Bristol City and the Parkhead club for his signature, with Dobbie admitting he would be keen on a move to Scotland. The first I heard about an interest from Celtic was when I was on holiday," said the former Rangers youngster in the Daily Record. "But it was newspaper speculation and I haven't heard anything official."
