Would-be Rangers owner Charles Green says he would love to bring Gennaro Gattuso back to the club once they can buy players again.
Green is attempting to set a Company Voluntary Agreement underway at Ibrox to take the SPL club out of administration and begin focusing on their currently undecided future. If the CVA is approved next Thursday, the club will be able to begin signing players for next season and Green says they could start with former Italy midfielder Gattuso, currently a free transfer after leaving AC Milan. He told the club's official website: "Gattuso himself came out publicly and said he would love to join Rangers and, after the illustrious career he has had in Milan, that's great. "His agent came over and we met with him to explain the difficulties surrounding the club. To me, it's a massive positive he wants to come. "It's an endorsement that the world's top players would still like to come and play for this club."
