Humphrey not distracted by speculation
Scottish Premier League,
Chris Humphrey says he is fully focused on his form for Motherwell despite reports linking him with a summer move to England.
A number of scouts have watched the 24-year-old after a stunning season in which he has helped Stuart McCall's side rise to third in the table with just five games of the season remaining. Aston Villa, Liverpool, Sunderland and Swansea are all thought to be monitoring the Jamaican's progress but he insists that he is solely focused on helping the Steelmen finish as high up the league as possible. "I know it's a cliché but we really are trying to win each game as it comes," Humphrey told Sky Sports. "We cannot afford to start looking any further than the next game. "Of course it's flattering to be linked with some clubs but my focus is first and foremost to be selected to play for Motherwell."
