Northern Ireland striker Kyle Lafferty has joined Sion on a three-year deal after leaving crisis-hit Rangers.
The 24-year-old played more than 100 games for the Ibrox club, scoring 37 times, since joining from Burnley for £3m, with forward Alan Gow heading in the other direction, in 2008.
"He will be presented at a press conference on Monday, then will join his new team-mates for training," the Swiss club said in a statement.
The move could yet be scuppered though as Rangers' new owners have vowed to challenge such moves in the courts after many of their players declined to move to the newco Rangers after the old club went out of existence.
