Celtic boss Neil Lennon has slammed wantaway midfielder Victor Wanyama and insists he will not be leaving the club this summer.

Wanyama and his agent have made it clear that the 21-year-old wants to leave the SPL club with a view to moving to the English Premier League, but the comments only angered Lennon who remains intent on keeping him at Celtic. "I'm a bit annoyed with the agent and player for talking about club business while on international duty," he told the Daily Record. "Victor is due back on July 11 and will meet us on tour in Germany. "It does not surprise me that there is interest in Victor as he had an incredible season. "We think he is a great player but I'm just not happy about the way things have been dealt with. "As far as we are concerned Victor is not going anywhere as he signed a long-term contract." The Kenya international joined the Hoops from Beerschot AC for £900,000 last summer, scoring four goals in 29 appearances.
