McCoist set for Rangers exit

Ally McCoist is set to walk out on Rangers amid mounting uncertainty at the Old Firm club, according to reports.

The Gers boss arrived at Ibrox this morning for talks with club bosses. McCoist is said to have lost faith in Charles Green, the man set to take control at Ibrox. The former Scotland international insisted earlier this month that he would prepare his squad for next term, despite concerns over the club's future. "I am in the dark about so many issues but I can't and won't let it affect my desire for Rangers to be successful. I do know there will be a Rangers and we will be ready," said McCoist. However, it has now emerged he is prepared to end his long association with the club after growing increasingly frustrated with the perilous situation.
