McFadden rejects Dons

Craig Brown has revealed that he has failed in an ambitious move to bring free agent James McFadden to Pittodrie.

The Scotland international is currently looking for a new club after being released by Everton earlier this month and, after previously failing to acquire his services in January, Brown has revealed he has made an improved offer to the player.
However, the Dons boss has confirmed that McFadden has turned down his latest approach as he wants to continue his career in England.
"We would like to have McFadden at Pittodrie but that one doesn't look likely," Brown told the Daily Record.
"McFadden made it clear he would rather stay in England. I asked him to inform us if he has a change of heart but I'm not expecting that to happen."
