Hearts boss John McGlynn is determined to ensure the SPL title race does not become a one-horse race following the demise of Rangers.
The former Raith chief officially took charge of the Scottish Cup winners this week following the departure of Paulo Sergio. McGlynn has stepped into the hot seat at a vulnerable time for Scottish football, with the decision over where newco Rangers will ply their trade next season still pending. Despite working within a tight budget at Hearts, McGlynn does not accept Celtic will automatically romp their way to the title. "I hear talk of the league title race being finished in November next season. That would be sad," said McGlynn. "It's definitely up to us to make sure that's not the case. It's up to all of us in the league."
