Rangers' goalkeeper Allan McGregor has admitted the financial crisis at the club has taken its toll on the players.
The Gers went into administration earlier this year and as a result were deducted 10 points which all but ended their hopes of retaining the SPL title. However, more importantly, the players have had the threat of redundancy hanging over them with midfielder Gregg Wylde voluntarily leaving Ibrox in March to help ease the financial burden on the club. The remaining players were forced to take a pay cut and McGregor admits it's been a tough time for everyone at the Gers. "It's been difficult, I'm not going to lie and it has taken its toll on everyone," he said. "The uncertainty surrounding the place was hard and the boys made a massive sacrifice by taking a pay cut."
