Motherwell boss Stuart McCall says there is still a chance the club will offer trialist Simon Ramsden a permanent deal.
The 30-year-old is currently a free agent following his release by Bradford and has been training with the SPL side in the hope of finding a contract ahead of the new season. McCall, who previously signed Ramsden during his ill-fated spell in charge of the Bantams, says the versatile player has certainly impressed him and is hoping to make a decision by the end of the week. "We still have to wait on decisions being made," he said. "I would think most clubs will be clearer by the end of the week the finances they'll have to play with. "He's a good pro, talks well, has fitted in well and can play a few positions. Working with a small squad, that's the kind of players you're looking at."
