New St Johnstone recruit Mark Connolly says he can't wait to get involved after his loan move from Bolton.
The defender missed out on last week's CIS Cup semi-final against Rangers due to a problem with his registration and then had to make do with a place on the bench for Saturday's cup-tie against Dundee United after fellow short-term signing Michael Duberry stepped into the backline. However, the Irishman is eager to get in the team and wants his move to be beneficial for both him and the club.
Connolly told the club's website: "From the minute I walked into the club all the lads have been brilliant. They introduced themselves and have made feel a part of it right away.
"The gaffer and Doc have been brilliant with me and it is obvious that this is a good club with a great spirit - everyone is friends."
