Buddies snap up Thomson

Brighton midfielder Steve Thomson has agreed a deal to join St Mirren in the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old will return to his native Scotland from January 1 after signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Buddies.
"We have agreed a deal with Steven Thomson and his present side Brighton," Saints boss Gus MacPherson told his club's official website.
"Steven is a midfielder - an area where we have been a wee bit short lately and we felt needed to be strengthened to give us a few more options.
"He will bring a wee bit more competitiveness into the midfield area as well as bringing a fresh face into the squad that will undoubtedly lift everybody.
"Jack Ross, who played beside Steven at Falkirk, speaks very highly of him and how many of us can forget the great goal he scored against us when we lost 5-1 to Falkirk last season.
"We're delighted to get Steven in and we all look forward to working with him."
