Dorman bouncing back to his best - MacPherson

St Mirren, 16:49, December 16, 2008 ,

St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson is backing Andy Dorman to hit the heights he achieved last season.

The 26-year-old midfielder has made a slow start to the season, having struggled with with fitness and form after being the Buddies top performer last year.
However MacPherson was pleased with Dorman during St Mirren's 2-0 victory over Inverness Caley Thistle and believes he is now getting back to his best.
"We've said for some weeks that Andy Dorman is looking more like himself," MacPherson told the Paisley Daily Express.
"He's certainly a threat from the middle of the park with the runs he makes and once he gets into those areas, he's got great composure.
"We had to explain to him that his game is based on his fitness, but he's missed a considerable amount of pre-season and he's only going to get his fitness through matches.
"But that's certainly looking like him being back to his best now."
