Mistakes costing us - Howard

St Mirren, 12:36, December 5, 2008 ,

Mark Howard says St Mirren must build from the back if they are to reverse their form and climb off the foot of the table.

The Buddies have picked up just one point from their last seven games - conceding 12 goals in the process - and goalkeeper Howard feels individual mistakes are hurting progress.
He told the Daily Record: "If we can get something from the Falkirk game it will help us gather some momentum.
"We've had spells in games but things aren't falling for us in the box. We've been defending well but one silly error has cost us. Any mistake we make seems to be punished.
"There's been a focus on us not scoring but if we don't concede goals we won't lose the game.
"So we need to stay solid at the back and produce performances like we did against Rangers and Hamilton when we were determined nothing would get through us."
