Momentum key for Hamilton

St Mirren, 12:31, December 8, 2008 ,

Jim Hamilton hailed the 2-1 win at Falkirk that saw St Mirren move off the foot of the Premier League table as "massive".

The 32-year-old opened the scoring on 41 minutes and Dennis Wyness got in on the act 17 minutes from time for his first goal since October 2007 to earn the Buddies the spoils.
Hamilton's mauling at Rangers also ensured Gus MacPherson's side climbed off the bottom of the table and goalscorer Hamilton said: "It's a massive result. We came here and played the right way, passed the ball and had a lot of drive about us.
"It's not an easy place to come to but I think we had the determination to get the three points.
"Results went for us as well to get off the bottom of the league so we've got to build on this now. There is no point going in next Saturday and falling flat on our faces."
