Potter pens Buddies extension

St Mirren captain John Potter has ended speculation over his future by signing an extension to his contract at Love Street.
The 29-year-old's previous contract had been due to run out in the summer, but he has now put pen to paper on an extension until the summer of 2011, much to the delight of boss Gus MacPherson.
MacPherson said: "John has agreed an extra two years on top of the time he has left on this contract.
"We're delighted. He has been one of - if not our most - consistent player this season.
"The players look up to him, both on and off the park and he has done well."
