Darius a doubt for Boro

Darius Charles could be an injury concern for Stevenage ahead of their trip to Tranmere.

The versatile Charles had to come off just before half-time against Wycombe last Saturday after sustaining a knock. He has been monitored through the week and a late decision will be made on his fitness. Should Charles not make it, on-loan striker Patrick Agyemang or Craig Reid could be recalled to the starting line up. Depending on how manager Gary Smith decides to send his team out, midfielder Stacy Long could also be a replacement for Charles. On-loan striker Jordan Slew is available again after serving a three-match suspension following his red card for violent conduct against Colchester last month. Boro are unbeaten in nine League One matches but they have drawn eight of those, including the last five.
