Robin Shroot may have earned himself a place in the Stevenage starting line-up for the trip to Leyton Orient.
The midfielder has begun the campaign among the substitutes despite his fine goalscoring form in pre-season, but having climbed off the bench to hit the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Carlisle on Saturday boss Gary Smith admits he will be hard to leave out.
"He's made a serious push for a starting shirt after that," said Smith.
Fellow substitute Lucas Akins will also come into the reckoning for a start after combining with Shroot for Saturday's goal.
Elsewhere, Bondz N'Gala should continue to partner Mark Roberts in central defence with Jon Ashton still building up his fitness following injury.
