Smith set to retain Reid up front
Gary Smith has no new injury or suspension concerns for Stevenage's play-off semi-final first leg at home to Sheffield United on Friday night.
The Boro boss tinkered with a line-up which had remained unchanged for the club's previous four games as they saw off Bury 3-0 on the final day of the season to clinch sixth spot in League One. Craig Reid came in for Robin Shroot in attack and duly bagged the opening goal, meaning Smith is likely to keep faith with the same XI at Broadhall Way. Shroot is likely to have to make do with a place on the bench, alongside Chris Beardsley. Stevenage go into the game having tasted defeat just once in their last 16 games and having taken four points off the Blades this season, including a 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane two weeks ago after taking a two-nil lead.
