Stoke boss Tony Pulis has been told he will have to pay £8million if he wants to sign Martin Olsson from Blackburn.

Olsson is said to be high on Pulis' wanted list but Rovers are not willing to let any players leave on the cheap despite being relegated to the Championship and the Potters boss will have to pay big money. Reports claimed that Pulis was willing to pay £4million and he is unlikely to double that even if he will get more backing from Peter Coates and the Stoke board this summer. The Potters will also face strong competition for the player's signature if they did decide to pursue a move as Alan Pardew's Newcastle are also said to be in the hunt. Pulis has also made finding a new striker a top priority this summer, while the boss has also confirmed a number of fringe players will be moving on to make way for new blood.
