Adam on the brink of Stoke move
Stoke City,

Stoke have agreed a fee with Liverpool for midfielder Charlie Adam, thought to be worth around £4m for the Scottish international.
The Potters had already confirmed Adam was at their training ground on Friday morning to undergo a medical with a view to a permanent move and have now announced that agreement has been reached on a fee for the player.
He joined Liverpool only last summer from Blackpool for £9m but has been deemed surplus to requirements by new Reds boss Brendan Rodgers after making 37 appearances for the Merseyside giants, during which time he scored just two goals.
The 26-year-old had been keen to fight for his place at Anfield, but Rodgers is desperate to raise funds to boost their chances of landing Clint Dempsey from Fulham before today's 5pm deadline.
A statement on City's official website said: "Stoke City have confirmed that they have agreed a fee with Liverpool over the signing of Scottish international Charlie Adam.
"The 26-year-old midfielder is currently at the club's Clayton Wood training ground for discussions over personal terms and to undergo a medical."
