Stoke are reported to be lining up a £2million swoop for Moussa Konate, who has impressed for Senegal at the Olympics.

The 19-year-old has impressed with three goals for the Africans as they made it to the quarter-finals before losing to Mexico and Potters boss Tony Pulis is weighing up a move for the player according to reports. Konate plays his football in Israel with Maccabi Tel Aviv but he only has a year to run on his contract and City could pick him up for a bargain price as they do not want to lose him on the cheap in 12 months. The youngster can also play on the wing which appeals to Pulis who is looking to strengthen the wide areas of his side, with Wolves star Michael Kightly also a target.
