Geoff Cameron believes that his side are on the verge of picking up a first win of the season after narrowly losing to Chelsea.
The Potters had picked up four consecutive draws before their trip to Stamford Bridge over the weekend, but Ashley Cole was to bring an end to that run by snatching a late winner.
The 27-year-old joined Tony Pulis' squad in the summer transfer window and admits that the spirit in the dressing room was deflated after the game but they have the right character to pick up a win when they host Swansea at the weekend.
"We deserved a point from the game for sure, and on another day it could have been three, so the defeat is definitely hard to take," admitted Cameron.
"It's been a tough start for us with the teams that we have faced, but we can take a lot of positives with us from those games because we could, and should still be unbeaten."
He added: "It's important to get that first win on the board though, so we have to take the game to Swansea, just keep doing what we have been doing and finish them off when we get the chances."
