Stoke are being linked with a move for Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama but the Scottish Champions say he is not for sale.
Potters boss Tony Pulis is keen to add more attacking flair to his ranks this summer and Wanyama, who is targeting a move to the Premier League is said to be a target.
The Kenyan has angered Celtic boss Neil Lennon after admitting while on international duty that he wants to move to England, but the Hoops boss says the player is not for sale.
"Victor is due back on July 11 and will meet us on tour in Germany," Lennon revealed. "It does not surprise me that there is interest in Victor as he had an incredible season.
"We think he is a great player but I'm just not happy about the way things have been dealt with. As far as we are concerned Victor is not going anywhere as he signed a long-term contract."
Stoke could still test the water with a bid but would also face strong competition for the player's signature as Liverpool, Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle and West Ham United are also interested.
