Stoke boss Tony Pulis says he has no worries about defender Ryan Shawcross returning late from international duty with England.

Roy Hodgson's men were due to take on Poland in Warsaw on Tuesday night but the game was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch after they failed to close the roof on the stadium. The match has been rescheduled for 5pm local time today so that means Shawcross will not return to Stoke until Thursday at the earliest. However, Pulis is not concerned and says it will not effect preparations for the weekend too much. Shawcross is unlikely to play while the traveling involved should not take too much out of him. "I hadn't watched the build-up and just switched on to see the kick-off and couldn't believe what I was seeing," Pulis told the Sentinel. "You can't believe that if they have a roof and the rain is coming down they haven't prepared for it. "But you can't do anything about it now and I've got no worries about Ryan ahead of Saturday."
