Dynamo drop Cameron as Stoke close in
Stoke City,

Houston Dynamo are waiting for a formal bid from Stoke City after the clubs verbally agreed the transfer of Geoff Cameron.
The Major League Soccer club pulled Cameron out of their line-up for the game against Chicago Fire on Wednesday night, citing a hamstring strain as the reason why the USA international did not play.
But speculation has been rife that the 26-year-old defensive midfielder or centre back could have played and was not selected as his move to the Potteries is close to completion.
Stoke are yet to fax through the bid that Dynamo are waiting for but reports in the USA say the fee has been agreed with Major League Soccer executives.
The Potters will need to apply for a work permit and receive international clearance before they can unveil Cameron.
They may need to go to appeal, however despite Cameron appearing in the USA squad for their last six matches, including two World Cup qualifiers.
