Stoke defender Robert Huth could be in line for a shock return against Reading despite being struck down by meningitis.

The German international spent last week in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire after being struck down by the virus but is now on the road to recovery.
Huth returned to light training on Monday and there is an outside chance he could return to the starting line up for Saturday's trip to the Madejski Stadium.
"He's all right - there's nothing wrong with him," Dean Whitehead quipped in the Sentinal. "He's his usual self. I'm surprised he went to hospital. He's a great lad and he's shown in the last three or four years that he's a top player as well."
If Huth is passed fit to play it leaves boss Tony Pulis with a dilemma as Matthew Upson was all set to partner Ryan Shawcross in central defence.
