Jarvis bid denied

Wolves have denied reports suggesting Stoke have made a bid for Matt Jarvis and say talks have not taken place.

Stoke have long been linked with a move for the winger and reports last week suggested that a £6million bid had been made after West Ham failed with an offer of £4million. The Potters have stayed tight lipped about their interest in the 26-year-old but now Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey has said Stoke have not even made contact never mind make a bid. "They have not even spoken to us about him," Moxey told the Express & Star when quizzed about the rumour. However, Stoke's interest in the winger is for real and Pulis is expected to be on the phone with an offer before the summer is out as he looks to finally land his man.
