Potters eye new signings
Stoke boss Tony Pulis is hoping to sign a host of new players but will not put the club's future in jeopardy while doing so.
Pulis has already failed with a £16million double bid for Birmingham duo Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome and seems unwilling to go back with an improved bid while the Potters boss has also refused to meet Carlton Cole's wage demands.
Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios have also been strongly linked with a move to the Britannia Stadium but Pulis has a budget for the summer and will not break it.
"We're desperately keen to get a quite a few more in but we'll do it on our budget," Pulis revealed. "We've been linked with everybody but we'll try and do our business with other football clubs and you hope things will drop for you."
