Stoke look set to make changes against Swindon with Wilson Palacios and Dean Whitehead both in contention to play.

Potters boss Tony Pulis will use the Capital One Cup clash to give some of the players who have not figured in the Premier League so far a run out and Palacios looks set to get the nod.
Whitehead will also return after serving a one-match suspension and Pulis is likely to make a host of other changes against Paolo Di Canio's League One outfit.
Meanwhile, Pulis knows his side will be in for a tough encounter and will have to take the Robins seriously if they are to avoid an upset at the Britannia Stadium.
"It's a tough game for us and we will have to approach it in the right manner and show them as much respect as we would show anybody," he said.
"Swindon are well organised. I saw their game against Brighton and, for all their attacking flair, they are very difficult to break down.
"It looks like he has put a little bit of the Italian steel defensively into them."
