Pulis hands pair late fitness tests

Stoke are waiting on whether Jermaine Pennant and Andy Wilkinson will be fit to face Wigan after picking up knocks against Man City.

Wilkinson has been struggling recently with a knee injury and was taken off during the 1-1 draw with City in order not to make the problem worse as manager Tony Pulis looks to establish a settled side. This means he will have to undergo a late fitness test, as will Jermaine Pennant who picked up a hamstring problem in the same game and came off for Tuncay. Stoke will definitely be without Marc Wilson for the trip to the DW Stadium as he serves a one-match ban for picking up his fifth booking of the season last week.
