Sidibe future sorted

Stoke City, 11:39, February 4, 2010 ,

Mamady Sidibe has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with Stoke which should keep him at the club until 2012.

The 30-year-old was due to be out of contract at the Britannia Stadium at the end of the season but he has now agreed a brand new deal to extend his stay with the Potters.
The Mali international decided against representing his country at this year's African Cup of Nations in a bid to prove to boss Tony Pulis he was worthy of a new contract.
And he has confirmed he has now put pen to paper on the deal.
Sidibe said: "I am very happy here and didn't have to think about it when I was asked about a contract.
"I am very proud to have played so many times for Stoke."
