Star rules out move
Danny Higginbotham has dismissed reports suggesting he is ready to leave Stoke to link up with Roy Keane at Ipswich.
Keane signed the defender when he was in charge of Sunderland and reports have claimed that the pair could be reunited again as the Town boss plans a promotion campaign with the Tractor Boys.
However, Higginbotham says there is no truth in the rumours and insists he is staying at the Britannia Stadium.
"This is where I have been happiest," he told the Sentinel. "I really enjoyed last season. These reports are pie in the sky and, besides, I don't see any reason why I would want to move.
"I played 30 games last season in the best league in the world and we finished 12th. Now I want to be part of the club's success for the next few years."
