Stoke interested in cut-price City striker

Stoke City are ready to launch a reported £8m bid for unsettled Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz.
The Manchester City striker has been limited to just 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring only four goals for City in what was an injury-hit debut season for him at Eastlands last term.
It is thought, with Roberto Mancini having a plethora of attacking talent already at his disposal and a deal for Mario Balotelli in the pipeline, he could be surplus to requirements and Stoke boss Tony Pulis is lining up the 28-year-old for a club-record offer.
Pulis is believed to have already made contact with Manchester City and has been informed of Mancini's desire to let him leave.
