Stoke are keen on winger Matt Jarvis but are unwilling to pay the £10million Wolves are asking for and a deal looks unlikely.

Potters boss Tony Pulis has been tracking the winger for some time but only stepped up his interest after Wolves were relegated to the Championship. Pulis is keen to add another winger to his squad after Jermain Pennant had problems on and off the field towards the end of last season, and Jarvis is the player he would like to bring in. However the player still has three years to run on his current contract and Wolves are in no rush to sell as they attempt to make an immediate return to the Premier League. The winger will only leave if a club pay £10million and Pulis is unwilling to go that high. West Ham are also interested and are believed to have failed already with a £4million bid.
