Black Cats star faces late test

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill will give a late test to Lee Cattermole ahead of the clash with Wolves this weekend.

The Black Cats captain limped off towards the end of Saturday's goalless draw with Tottenham and missed Easter Monday's heavy defeat at Everton.
Phil Bardsley was substituted at Everton after he picked up a knock but he faces a late test to see if he can play and Ncklas Bendtner missed the Everton game with a back injury and remains a doubt.
Among those pushing for a return to the starting line-up are Kieran Richardson and Wayne Bridge who both had to do with a place on the bench on Monday, although both got on in the second half.
