Black Cats told to up offer
Sunderland,
Last updated:
Reports claim Sunderland have made a whopping £12m bid for striker Steven Fletcher but Wolves are holding out for £15m.
The 25-year-old Scottish international is a long-term target for Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill as he looks to add to his front line but Wolves are in no rush to sell the striker.
Sunderland have only signed free agent Carlos Cuellar, following the expiry of his deal at Aston Villa, this summer yet there has been a steady exit of players form the club and now O'Neill is looking to land some of his targets so he can redress the balance.
Whether he ups his offer for Fletcher, who has been relegated twice from the Premier League, remains to be seen.
