Bruce rocked by keeper blow

Sunderland, 15:24, November 16, 2009 ,

Sunderland could be without goalkeeper Craig Gordon until February after the player suffered a broken arm.

The Scotland international picked up the injury in the defeat to Tottenham last time out and Black Cats boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that he could be out for three months.
Gordon had just won his place back in the side but the injury now gives Marton Fulop the chance re-establish his place in the first team.
"Craig's injury is the most disappointing thing to come out of the last couple of weeks," Bruce told the club's official website. "It looks as if it's going to be three months.
"We've not had much luck in that respect - that's two serious injuries in a month."
