Sunderland defender John O'Shea has asked for more consistency from his team-mates as they look to climb up the Premier League table.

The Republic of Ireland international believes a string of results will help to revitalise some the clubs flair players, the likes of Stephane Sessegnon, Adam Johnson and James McClean are yet to gel together so far this term.
New £14 million signing Steven Fletcher has added some much needed firepower with five goals already, but the Black Cat's are still struggling to pick up results with only eight points at this stage.
Martin O'Neill's side were able to come from behind in the Tyne-Wear derby on Sunday and with the help of a Demba Ba own goal late on snatch a share of the points.
O'Shea understands that results need to improve with just one win in 15 games he is hoping that they can put an end to that spell, but a tough test lies ahead in a trip to the Britannia.
"Now over the next few weeks, fingers crossed, with a few bodies coming back as well, we will be able to go on a stronger run than we have been doing.
"We have not been losing games. Obviously, we lost against (Manchester) City, but we should have more wins on the board than what we have."
