France ace linked
Sunderland appear to be winning the race to sign Spurs striker Louis Saha, the France ace is available on a free transfer.
Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill is looking to add some more firepower to his side and the much travelled frontman fits his bill as experienced and a regular goal scorer, although he does come with a history of injury problems.
Saha joined Spurs last January in a surprise move from Everton but his contract is up this summer and he is not expected to be offered a new one, unless of course a new boss at Spurs has a great desire to keep him.
O'Neill faces competition from a handful of foreign clubs, including a wealthy Middle Eastern outfit, who are all ready to ignore his injury concerns and make a move for the 33-year-old.
