Frontman linked with Cats move

Blackburn's Canadian front man Junior Hoilett is back on Martin O'Neill's wanted list after his move to Germany collapsed.

The 22-year-old looks certain to leave Ewood Park for a nominal fee after his contract came to an end with the relegated side. He was strongly linked with a move to the Bundesliga and Borussia Monchengladbach but talks collapsed after the two sides could not agree personal terms and now a move to another English club looks to be on the cards. Black Cats boss O'Neill is keen to land him but he faces competition from Tottenham who were also thought to be after him, although their interest may have waned now they have a new man in charge.
