Healy backed by Keane
Sunderland, 13:33, September 4, 2008 ,
Roy Keane has assured new Sunderland striker David Healy he will get the chance to prove he can still deliver goals.
The Northern Ireland legend has made two substitute appearances for the Black Cats since arriving after a frustrating spell with Premier League rival Fulham.
Keane is confident his former Manchester United team-mate will get his career back on track at the Stadium of Light and soon hit the goals trail.
"Hopefully David will plug into what we are all about," said Keane. "He has settled in very well.
"I am pretty sure when David gets a chance, he will score goals for Sunderland."
