Leeds rule out Black Cats swoop

Leeds boss Gary McAllister insists Sunderland striker Anthony Stokes will not be moving to Elland Road on loan.
McAllister has admitted Stokes was on his radar last season and an enquiry was made for the Black Cats fringe player.
His decision to snub Leeds' interest then means McAllister will not be pursuing him any more despite reports linking the 20-year-old with a move to West Yorkshire.
"He was a player we enquired about last season and he didn't want to come here," McAllister told Leeds' official website.
"If players are reluctant to take an opportunity here then it's not something we pursue, so that was the end of it as far as I am concerned."
