Midfielder facing spell out

Andy Reid has been added to Sunderland's injury list and could miss the rest of the month with a hamstring injury.

The midfielder picked up the injury towards the end of Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Portsmouth and boss Steve Bruce fears he could be facing a spell on the sidelines.
Reid looks almost certain to miss the game with Arsenal next weekend but there are fears he could miss the rest of the month as well.
Bruce could have big problems in midfield as Lee Cattermole and David Meyler are suspended while Steed Malbranque is an injury doubt after he was taken to hospital with chest pains, and Jordan Henderson has an ankle injury.
