No move for midfielder
It is looking increasingly unlikely that Sunderland will extend the deal of Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari in the summer.
Muntari is said to be earning £70,000 a week at the club, but his displays have failed to impress, and Steve Bruce is unlikely to pick up the option of a permanent deal in the summer.
Muntari was brought off in the defeat to Fulham last weekend, and marched straight down the tunnel rather than watch the rest of the game. But he is more than likely to retain his place for the clash against Bolton on Saturday due to injury problems at the club.
Following last weekend's defeat to Fulham, Lee Cattermole and Jordan Henderson have both been added to the ever growing injury list at the club.
