Price rises on defender deal
Sunderland have been warned they will have to cough up £8m if they are to turn Nedum Onuoha's loan deal into a permanent transfer.
The 24-year-old is thought to be keen on a switch in the summer but Black Cats boss Steve Bruce will have to come up with a hefty transfer fee if the deal is going to come off, if reports are to be believed.
Manchester City have come under fire for allowing their players to move on for very small transfer fees or to move on loan whilst they pick up their wages bill. Therefore they have now changed that policy and will only listen to substantial offers for their players and that could rule out a permanent move in the summer for the player.
